Ronald Blum is an actor, film producer and writer that is now gaining a lot of attention, mainly because of his project, Inquisitor: The Curse Of El Dorado, a movie that started filming in October 2014 but that still did not make it post production. As this seems to change at the moment and litigation is no longer of interest, his dreams come to life. What is known about Run Blum’s Inquisitor: The Curse Of El Dorado? Not much but what we do know is what is presented below.

Listed Staff

The director for the movie is Harry Locke IV and the writer of the movie is Ronald Blum himself. He also acts as the producer of the motion picture. At the moment the movie is officially listed as being in a post-production stage, with the last updates being delivered in August of last year. The movie is going through sales under the influence of Spotlight Pictures, without details being released to the public.

Just as with every single movie out there, the cast is of high importance. The role of Richard Davenport is played by Christopher Atkins and the role of the Inquisitor is played by Vernon Wells. Other actors of interest for the movie include Branscombe Richmond as Shiniki and John Charles Meyer as Jorge Escamilla. The one actress that is mentioned as being important for the story is Jennifer Rikert Wolski, playing the role of Kira.

Storyline

Inquisitor: The Curse of El Dorado’s storyline is seen by some as being common while others are highly interested in what is mentioned. Ronald Blum presents the story of Jonathan Davenport, who is haunted by demons manifested through self-destructive and highly masochistic tendencies. In an attempt to get rid of the demons, Davenport is trying to find asylum, getting away from the world that he sees as having turned completely against him. This was caused by the media covering his father’s suicide, mainly due to him being rich.

Jonathan is checked by psychiatrists and deemed to be unfit to operate the company of the family. Because of this he decides to connect with Elisabeth Carlisle, his former lover. She is in the process of getting ready to leave for Peru, as she tries to find an artist. Since Jonathan believes the trip would help him, he joins her. However, he quickly finds himself in an unwanted situation as various things go wrong. The art collector that is funding the expedition has clearly murderous company, the target artist is hidden way deep inside territory controlled by rebels and there is a demonic spirit that destroys Davenport’s mind. All this as Jonathan realizes his one true desire: to pursue El Dorado.

Final Thoughts

The plot of the movie is definitely highly complex but that is never a bad thing. Whether or not it will be a success remains to be seen but it needs to be mentioned that the highly complicated storyline, with multiple problems clearly highlighted even in the synopsis will surely capture some fans.
