It might mean reducing the amount of time you spend with certain people, or it might even mean that you have to adjust your professional habits to get rid of toxic workplaces.
The easiest way to inspire yourself to become a new and better person is to start picking up healthy habits one by one. It’s incredible how much of every day is spent doing rituals and patterns that we repeat all the time. One of the ways to hack into a better version of yourself is to replace some of these bad habits with new good ones. That might be easier said than done, but if you can start working toward this decisive set of behaviors, you’ll feel more accomplished almost immediately.
Another way that you can start making a better environment for yourself as a new year moves forward is to find creative projects to occupy your time and build positivity around you. For example, you could try out creative carpentry projects. Collect the tools, practice the skills, and pick a project that you can do that will create a better environment for you and the people around you. Carpentry is a good place to start because it doesn’t take a lot of skill to do projects that improve your life with a significant amount of value.
Getting Rid of Toxicity
A third way that you can improve upon some of the negative aspects of your life is by getting rid of toxicity. Toxic people and behaviors come in many different shapes and sizes. If you’ve ever dealt with a toxic workplace, you know how painful it can be. If any of your friendships are based on poisonous principles, you know how draining they can be. If you start defining where this toxicity in your life is coming from, you can slowly take all of the steps that you need to eliminate all of this negative space piece by piece.
